About the Journal

The Oracle is York University’s Undergraduate Philosophy Student Review/Journal, established in 2007 by Philosophia, York University’s Undergraduate Philosophy Students’ Association. The Oracle is published annually in April. It is accredited by York University, its Department of Philosophy, and The American Philosophical Association (APA). Traditionally, The Oracle does not set a specific theme for its journal except that submissions must be linked to Philosophy in some manner. We aim to represent a diverse range of areas, ideas, and disciplines within and related to Philosophy while prioritizing the quality and rigor of submissions.
